Belt Study Cards

Your child only needs to study the cards up to their current rank.
Pronunciation is always difficult, but the Korean version of the terms are written phonetically.
For example:

One o is pronounced "oh" as in dough, while two o's are pronounced ew as in few.
Most a's are short as in hat, long a's are followed by an e and pronounced long as in day.

Words that end in i sound like a long e as in key.
If you are having difficulty, please ask Mr. Kear in your next class.
The best way suggested to learn the terminology is to make flash cards.
